Lexus GS cars reviews - Lexocars
In January 1993 there took place the presentation of Lexus GS 300. Economical Europeans were content with the GS300 model possessing a "modest" three-liter "six-engine". But competitors do not rest in peace and please the world with technically advanced cars. And at that very moment there appeared the updated sedan Lexus GS 430. Each line and a detail flows into another so smoothly, that the body seems whole-cut.
The driver will quickly find a common language with the precise steering wheel and an obedient acceleration pedal, especially in turns, and more to that, on high speeds. An almost a two-ton car is started-up quickly the borrowed from the prime sedan Lexus LS 430 new eight-cylinder engine with the power of 283 h.p. and five-gear adaptive "automatic gears". At that, the woofing roar of the V-shaped "eighth" can be heard only on the highest torsion speeds. And the elaborated aerodynamics of the body with excellent noise isolation allow to conversate in a low voice even on speeds near to 200 kmph.
The VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) system of stabilization selectively brakes separate wheels, assisting in keeping the car on the set course. But these are yet not all the news from Lexus, because there exists also Lexus GS450h, in which, using keys on the central console, you may choose the mode of the hybrid transmission and set the rigidity of shock-absorbers. The petrol engine of the volume of 3.5 l together with an electric engine make the hybrid 450-th the strongest among the "Lexus GS" series and the most harmless of all. The new petrol V6 has improved characteristics. Now, to lower the fuel expense and harmful emissions, the stepless adjustment of phases for the inlet and outlet valves (Dual VVT-i) is used, especially adapted for the work with the hybrid machine.
